                    Tour of Crete

Welcome to the Tour of Crete website

The purpose of this site is to act as a guide to some of the many holiday resorts and ancient historical sites on the Greek island of Crete. Whether you are thinking of booking a holiday on the island, or you have already booked one and would like to know more about the area that you are about to visit, then feel free to tour our site.

Crete is the largest of the Greek islands. Situated just north of the continent of Africa, the island is easily assessable via the many ferries that ply there trade around the Greek islands. There are also two main airports on the island, one at Heraklion, and the other just outside Chania. The island boasts a long and fascinating history, a wonderful mountainous interior, and superb, long, sandy beaches. We have included some of the more popular resorts, plus a few of the more interesting attractions on the island, such as the palace at Knossos, and the Samaria Gorge.

If you are looking for a dramatic landscape, ancient, historic buildings, quiet family orientated resorts, or lively centers partying all through the night, then Crete has it all.

Whether you are intending to visit Crete for a holiday, or considering buying property and moving to the island, we hope that you will find this website interesting and helpful. If you wish to get in touch with us for any reason, please feel free to do so by visiting our Contact page.
